First, it depends on what medication you are using for migraine treatment. Some meds state you can repeat the dose in 4 hours, others require 6-8 hours between dosing. You do not include enough information in this post for anyone to answer this properly. Most all migraine medications can be repeated as needed until the migraine is gone but there should be instructions on the label of the medication, telling you how soon you can repeat a dose.

These are both good hospitals so I can’t really say. But I do know that NIMHANS is supposed to be THE neurological place in India. However, ultimately I think it is not so much which hospital you must choose but which doctor. Try to ask around and see who is a highly recommended and experienced doctor in this field. A migraine headache is caused by hormonal fluctuations which
cause blood vessels in the head and neck to contract and then
dilate. The first phase, or contraction phase, may last minutes,
hours, or days. During this phase, symptoms can be spots in
front of the eyes, difficulty concentrating, and cold fingertips
and hands. This is called an “aura”. Many people recognize this
phase of their headaches; many others don’t notice any symptoms
at this time. Some people who think they don’t have an  migraine aura
can learn to recognize it.

When the blood vessels dilate, the headache pain starts.
Apparently the hormones over-react. Instead of just going from a
contracted state back to normal, the blood vessels dilate much
wider than normal, causing pain. Other things also happen about
the same time: swelling of the brain, release of certain
chemicals, and perhaps muscle tension. These things add to the pain.

Changes in wake-sleep pattern- either not enough sleep or too much sleep may trigger migraines in some individuals.

Physical Activity- intense exercise even sex can trigger migraines.

A change in the environment– a change of weather, season, altitude levels; barometric pressure or time zone can promote migraine.

To be honest, i dont know about physiotherapy. I suffered from migraines for years until i was refered to a “headache specialist”, not a “neurologist”, but a headache specialist, after my initial consultation, she felt that my migraines were caused by a vitamin deficiency, she ordered tests, and sure enough, B12 deficient.
Ever since then, i take 1000 mcg of B12 every day and have not even had so much as a hint of a headache since then.

Any doctor that would stand by and do nothing while you are suffering with hemiplegic migraine to the extent of losing nearly 50 pounds is utterly incompetent. Keep looking till you find one with some compassion. Have you tried going to the emergency room? I once had hemiplegic migraine that I couldn’t get under control with Imitrex so my doctor sent me to the ER to get better pain relief. I’m so sorry you have to suffer like this. I hope you can find someone that will help you.

Don’t overlook emotions in hemiplegic migranes. It’s been shown is some instances that an initial senstizing even contributes to migranes and once the emotion is neutralized the headaches go away.

It’s possible if she had an epidural during labor this could be causing her migraine headaches also. The only other thing I can think of is that her hormones are not back to normal levels yet, and it’s giving her migraine headaches, maybe once her hormones have time to get back to normal the migraine headaches will go away.

Yes…migraine headaches are indeed a symtptom of early pregnancy…if your worried i would take a test…that way you would know for sure…once you take the test you will know and if you are pregnant you can tell your parents and they will help you out and make appointments…how old are you?

The guys who deal with Aircraft fuel are taught correct procedures and follow those procedures when working on the planes or dealing with the fuel. Now, we did have some fools decide not to follow the TO and ended up getting airlifted to the nearest major medical facility. But, if they had followed the TO, it wouldn’t have happened.
If you are working a plane with hydrazine, you also receive hazardous duty pay, as it can kill you. (The money was nice, but I preferred him working on aircraft where he DIDN’T get that money!)
We also had DNA work ups done on him from working with JP4 and Hydrazine, as we were having problems with pregnancies. Nothing irregular showed up.

As for any chemicals… Everywhere you go these days there are sheets for everything and anything explaining what is in it, proper handling procedures, and what to do if you come in contact with the chemical, and that even includes the toilet bowl cleaner!!
